Simon Ross - Chief Executive Officer

Simon founded Express Teleconferencing in 2001 after having had senior management experience at Telstra (managing their conferencing business), NEC, (as their National Marketing Manager for Business Communication Systems Group) and Glaxo. From humble beginnings, the company has grown from a low-cost provider of automated teleconferencing services into Australia's leading provider of fully managed virtual meeting services. When Simon is not in the office, he can be found kayaking along the Mornington Peninsula coast in the Winter months, or swimming in the Summer months.

Kirsten Peters – Finance Director

Kirsten brings financial management experience, spanning public health, hospitality, recreation and property/construction sectors. Kirsten is responsible for Express Virtual Meetings accounting and reporting requirements, HR and administration. When asked what she likes best about working at Express? - “I love working in my local community in a role that allows me to challenge every day in a quest for continual improvement…the team’s energy is infectious.” Hobbies? “When I’m not at work I love cooking, and enjoying the laid back lifestyle of the Mornington Peninsula.”

Nicole Martin – Conferencing Director

Nicole brings over twenty years of experience in the field of customer service in Telecommunications, Insurance and the Hospitality industry. “I definitely have a real passion for people. There is a great network of individuals here to support you in developing your professional career. Life outside of work keeps me balanced and active. I love playing tennis, cooking for friends, travel, and of course, the great outdoors.”

Andrea Goding – IT Director

Andrea brings many years of project management and operational excellence experience to the company. Andrea is responsible for continuity of supply of high quality services to Express Virtual Meetings. Andrea loves working at EVM as it is a great team environment and she is empowered to utilise her previous skills to their full potential. “My hobbies are bush camping with my family, reading, enjoying good food, and the beach in the summer months.”

Sharyn Welsh – Marketing Director

A career spanning the Government, Events and Finance sectors in both National and International organisations, Sharyn brings a range of experience to Express Virtual Meetings.  Responsible for the marketing and demand generation activities of the business, she is focused on developing the profile and reach of EVM in the marketplace. When asked why Express?- “A solid company, committed to the marketing function - and also local – why wouldn’t you!”  Outside of work she can be found chasing either a netball around the court, or two small children.
